UniStep International holds the distinction of being one of only three education providers in Australia authorised to deliver the Australian Government developed 11240NAT Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation. This course is designed to provide access to university Bachelor level education for learners whose academic standing is not yet sufficient for direct entry into a university.
With three decades of experience in educating young learners from Australia and around the world, the UniStep academic team has amassed extensive knowledge in the complexities of academic pathways and providing strong educational support architecture for non-English speaking background (NESB) students.

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.

UniStep International, operating in Australia under the broader Shafston International College brand, was established as a distinct academic unit with the mandate to develop and offer Australia’s leading English speaking university preparation training.
To achieve this, the UniStep team sought the most engaging, relevant academic units of competency broadly accepted by the adult tertiary training sector and built a flexible syllabus of education offerings underpinned by the Australian Qualification Framework of Nationally Recognised Training.
UniStep is proud to offer a uniquely complete and comprehensive academic pathway system, with options for delivery inside and outside Australia in collaboration with partnering institutions and world-wide study centres.
